About Me

Hi! My name is Jaissa Gerity and I am an Independent Beachbody Coach. I have been coaching for 11 months now and I absolutely love helping others become successful and accomplish goals they set for themselves!

A little about me and my work background: 

I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I went to Clarion University and got my undergraduate in Elementary Education. As soon as I graduated, I moved to Fredericksburg, VA to teach 1st grade. I loved Virginia and lived there for 3 years. I moved back to PA when I got a job in Huntingdon County as  first grade teacher. I moved back to PA to be closer to family. I taught for 5 years in Huntingdon. I taught first grade, Kindergarten, Learning Support and Life skills / Autistic Support. I loved teaching, however, for the past 2 years I have gone to bed crying and woke up crying everyday. Why? Because I lost my passion and drive. I didn't like my full time job any more and was scared to live the rest of my life the way I was living. I was miserable and it reflected in my relationships with my fiancé, family, and friends.

So just this June, I resigned from my job as a teacher of 8 years, and am following my true passion and dream. I love fitness, health, and nutrition, but more than that I love helping others!! I am scared to death to be following my dream and giving up a full time job, but I am very excited to help others see how truly special they are and help them be successful in changing their lives.

Even if I just help one person accomplish their goal, I know I did my job!!
