Fuel for fitness
This tips is great for all my runners out there. Whether you are running a 5k or a Marathon make sure you check this tip out.
Are you planning on picking up the pace
tomorrow?
If so then you need to make sure that you eat food that will help keep you going strong. For breakfast, opt for
a high-carbohydrate meal—one similar to what you'll be eating on race day, so
you can find out what foods digest best (for you!). Try a Gluten Free English
muffin or a gluten free bagel with peanut butter. Then, have a well-rounded
meal post-workout to help with recovery. A great after workout meal is One
slice of Gluten Free French toast with a side of fruit. The protein-to-carbohydrate
ratio is perfect for enhancing recovery. However, remember your body is going to digest different foods than others. Find what works best for you!
