Tip #2 Phones away!
This might seem like a no brainer and easy enough to do, but its easier said then done. We all have cell phones now a days and we can keep them near us at all times. However, have you looked around lately when you are out shopping, or eating dinner? No one looks up any more. No one notices life happening any more because they are glued to their cell phones at all times. This was happening to us!
I own my own online health and fitness business so its hard for me to not have my phone on me at all times and out so that I can answer questions and respond back to my clients and team. And I was doing this at dinner!!! If my phone wasn't around me and I heard it go off, I would get up from the dinner table and go find it and respond back. RUDE!!! Right?!?!
My husband never said anything but he would have his phone out too and when I could pick mine up and respond to someone he would pick his up and look at it. We weren't talking! I didn't know what went on in his day and I wasn't telling him about my dad because I was GLUED to my phone.
Well now ANY time we sit down to eat together, mostly just dinner, we turn phones on silent . or leave them in another room and ignore them if and when they go off. Man has it helped!!! We now talk about our days, plans for the weekend, what is in store for the week or tomorrow, etc. Its nice talking at the dinner table and not worrying about my phone.
I know that my clients and team will wait for me to respond and I know they wouldn't want me to respond during my dinner time because I wouldn't want them to respond during theirs.
So as easy as this tip might seem. Try it! We take for granted the moments we have and the time we have to talk about things. Cell phones have taken away the intimacy that once was there. Bring it back! Get rid of your phone. Its only a half hour to an hour time. Enjoy the time with your spouse!

3 Day Refresh!! Starts today!!!
For the past 2 months my life has been stressful, to say the least. First off being a newly wed and living with your parents isn't fun! Also living with your parents who eat crap and lots of gluten when you have celiac's is killer. My parents have never lived with me since I was diagnosed with Celiac's and its hard for them to comprehend it all. However, with all the cooking and baking my mom does it has really caused me to be sick and struggle. Plus its battle with her because she doesn't get it and doesn't think its that serious!! Which equals stressful!
Also over a month ago my husband fell out of a truck at work and needed to have surgery because he ruptured his quad tendon. This has put a lot of strain on our relationship with him not being able to drive, needing assistance with everything he does, and not being able to workout like he use to. I know that would drive me crazy. However, once again this too has been very stressful on the 2 of us.
As you can see there is a theme here. Its stress. So this time around I am doing the Refresh to hid my body of all the stress it has endured over the past 2 months. Also rid it of all the toxic gluten I have in haled. Also because my name is Jaissa Yahner and I am addicted to Peanut Butter, like eat it by the spoonful, add chocolate chips to it, sneak it, find every excuse to put it in a shake or on something, ADDICTED!!! So yes, I am using the refresh to wean myself off of it.
I am excited and have all the meals planed out and ready to go. This time I am going to try to drink tea on it to help keep me full.
I will post the next 4 days to keep me accountable and to let you all know how I am feeling!

Marriage is not EASY!!! It isn't roses and romance all the time. It isn't sweet talks and fun 24/7! Marriage is tough! It's hard. It's stressful. And sometimes it can be no fun! BUT guess what.....it's worth it!
If you find that right guy, the one that treats you like a princess, knows when to apologize, knows when to compliment you, knows when to just give you a hug, then the good days, and good times, out weight the bad ones.
Tuesday was when Rich and I had been married for 3 MONTHS! Yes only 3 months and this past month has been the hardest and true test to our relationship. With his injury and his surgery, things have been tough, and there are days I just want to scream and cry, but never are there days that I just want to run away. I married my prince charming, my forever love and I wouldn't change it for ANYTHING in the world. I LOVE HIM to the moon and back.
We aren't perfect! We are two adults that have lived on their own for so many years that we are learning to live with one another, to think about the other one, to remember its not ALL about ME. However, we communicate, we talk, we listen, and we work things out. Maybe not right away, but we know when other one needs time to cool down and be alone for a while.
These past 3 months have been a trial but I wouldn't take them back, I wouldn't change anything, and I certainly wouldn't be where I am today. I am Mrs. Yahner. I am married to an amazing, caring, loving, spoiled, stubborn Irish man. And I love him for everything that he is and all his weird quirks. He is my number one fan. He supports me in my dreams, and he helps me be a better more open person each day. I am thankful everyday that God brought him into my life, because I don't know where I would be without him today!
Rich I love you more than you will ever know. These past 3 months have been amazing, stressful, and an adventure and I wouldn't want anyone else by side going through all of it, other than you!!!
