Newly Wed Tip #14 - Don't Take Your Spouse for Granted

Newly Wed Tip #14 - Don’t take your spouse for granted.

Its the holiday season and Christmas is 2 days away. This time of year turns out to be more stressful and a burden sometimes then it is meant to be. The holiday season is to be spent with loved ones and family. This time of year is o be a joyous and merry. Don't take this time of year for granted especially with the ones you want to spend it with. I always remind myself of the families that have lost someone round this time of year, or the people that have no one.

Yes married life can stink sometimes and you will have your ups and downs. WE DO!! This time of year has been stressful for us. We usually travel this time of year but with his leg and therapy we have to stay put. So the past few days have been stressful and full of arguments.

However I continue to tell myself that I love him and I continue to tell him that I love him, even when days I am so mad I don't want him to know I still do, I do!  Why? Because you never know when its the last time. I know this sounds dreary but I don't want to wake up one day and regret that I didn't say I love you to him. Life is too short!

So say it regularly. Tell your spouse when they’ve done a good job or something you appreciate." Let them know you noticed. Especially with guys, they need that acknowledgement, they need that praise, especially if we ant them to keep doing it, ladies. ;)

Also do little daily gestures, such as; rubbing your spouse’s shoulders, doing things to help out around the house [or] fixing your spouse's favorite meal. These little gestures help to boost relationship and your moods. And lets your other half know you TRUELY care!!

Also remember marriage isn't perfect and it doesn't just click. You must work at a marriage to have that happy and healthy relationship. Its not easy, but in the end, its worth it!

Insanity is Over!!!

AHHHH I did it!! I finished the 60 day program of insanity!! I cant believe that 60 days have passed already and that I actually completed the program. It's funny because as I reflect on the past 6 months and seriously 6 months ago I laughed at people who talked about insanity. I thought they were insane for doing the program let alone LOVING it!! And here I am 6 months later, I am going to tell you I LOVED it!!! Insanity is amazing! Don't get me wrong, its tough, but the feeling of accomplishment that you get when you finish a workout is amazing. Also the confidence it built in me, is indescribable!

Insanity changed my body in so many ways! I am not of the average person, why? Because most people who do a program lose weight. NOT ME!!! WHAT?!?!? I actually gained 5 pounds!! HOW? I gained 5 pounds of muscle. I have curves and muscles that I never thought I had through out my body. Also with doing insanity, I had to eat more than I normally do. So yes, I gained 5 pounds. Does it look it? No and yes. It isn't fat so I don't look different but if you see my thighs and my arms then you can see the difference and where the muscle is new.

I would do this program again! I think it is a great winter program, especially because in the winter we like to eat more because of the cold and dearie weather. This program boosts your metabolism and keeps you warm through the winter months!

Here are my results from Day 1 to Day 60. You will see how much I improved in some areas and very little in others. The areas I improved in where my weak areas and the areas I only did a little was because I was already strong there.

My 2 biggest accomplishments were the Power Jumps and the push up jacks! They are what impressed me the most!!!

Start of week 8 of INsanity!!!

I can't believe its already the second to last week of Insanity! There are 10 weeks but week 10 is just a recovery week, so this is really the second to last week! All I can say about it is, I LOVE IT and I hate it at the same time. This program is seriously amazing.

The second month of insanity is really when you see results both physically and mentally. Going an hour hard, is nothing now to me, when it was tough the first month, my endurance has increased majorly since the first week and month, and my body has drastically changed! I have muscles popping out that I have never seen before, all from this program. I am not lifting or doing any other program. I love the program and the results I am getting so far and Can't wait to post my befores and afters.

This program is a challenge, but its a challenge that everyone should take, if they have the time.

This is my Fit Test Results! I actually went up in every category. Some only by 1 or 2 and others by 10 or more! So excited to see that I am getting Stronger and Better each time.

Max Interval Circuit gets me every time! I am drenched in sweat and exhausted by the end but at the same time high as a kite because I finished it and kicked butt!!
