It's Offical!!! We are Moving!

Well the time has come!!! We are officially moving out of my parents house and into our own townhome. This was a goal of mine for this year. We are renting and we are moving closer to work for my husband.

Yes we got married and moved in with my parents. NOT at all ideal. But at the time with the wedding and reception and him starting his new job, we had no other choice. So now we do have the choice and I have a lot of mixed emotions about it. Good mixed emotions but still its a stressful time, when moving into a new place and taking on new finances.

1. Excited!!! I am super excited to finally get out of my parents house and have my OWN kitchen again and not have to worry about being GLUTENED from them and al their crumbs.

2. Scared! Say what?!? I have been with Rich (my husband) for almost 5 years and this will be the first time we live together alone!!! We have always had a roommate or for the past 7 months my parents. We have always had a buffer and now no one!

3. Overwhelmed - I think everyone feels this way when they are moving. All our furniture is in State College right now and we will be living out of suit cases and on an air mattress till we have the time to go up and get people to help us load and unload all our furniture. Plus all the packing from 2 different houses is overwhelming.

4. Terrified - Yes, you read that right. I am terrified that we aren't going to make it financially. I am taking off with my business but I am no where near where I want to be, to be able to contribute to more bills, and my husband took a paycut a year ago and we are now starting to feel the affects.

However, we are doing this, we are moving. Why? Because we are 39 and 31 years old. Living with my parents isn't the answer and we need to get on with our lives. We haven't had any ALONE time or Oh we are MARRIED time. So as all these emotions flood me, I am looking forward to the new chapter in our lives and excited to see what happens and we God leads us in our journey.

Week 2 of Insanity Max 30

Insanity Max 30 Week 2!! All I can say is I am LOVING this program!! Its hard but its because you push yourself to the max, if you didn't then it wouldn't be hard AND you wouldn't get the best results.

Last week OMG, by Wednesday I was dead! I was sore, tired, and couldn't walk up the stairs. It was an amazing feeling. Why? Because I never felt that way with Insanity, Asylum, or Asylum 2. I was never sore.

So what's the Different between Insanity and Max 30? There are a bunch. 1. Insanity is 45-60 minutes long, it has a warm up, a stretch, the workouts, and then a cool down. Max 30 is exactly 30 minutes long, each workout.  It has a warm up, no stretch, the workout and the cool down is after the 30 minutes, so you technically can choose to do it or not. Insanity had you follow a calorie based meal plan and Max 30 is having you follow the 21 Day Fix Meal plan. Insanity had a lot of water breaks and Shaun T took a lot of time show and talk about the move. Max 30 less water breaks and no explaining of the move, you just keep going, move after move and figure out the form. Insanity has a recovery week between month 1 and month 2. Max 30 has no recovery week, you go straight into month 2. Insanity has no modifier and no Max Out. Max 30 has a modifier and Shaun T WANTS you to max out.

To me, how I describe Max 30 is, that it is a lot like T25 the way it is structured but it is T25 on SPEED.

I love this program. Yes I am only on week 2 and it is kicking my butt, BUT it is a program that any one can do because it has the modifier. Will you still max out? Yes you will, as long as you push yourself as hard as you can. I can't wait to see my results after a month and after the entire program!!!

Halloween Candy - How do you avoid it????

Halloween Candy.....
How do you avoid it?!?!?

Halloween Candy is seriously everywhere I go!!! I swear the reese's peanut butter cups and butterfingers are calling my name!! I didn't even buy any yet and honestly, this year I have talked my mom into not giving any out! Hold up, we will still be giving stuff out but this year we will be doing Halloween pencils and Halloween figurines that I have left over from teaching. Don't get me wrong Halloween is fun and when Rich and I have kids I will let them go out and trick or treat and eat the candy, just not all of it and it wont be around in the house for more than a few days before it gets to moving on somewhere else. I will send some of it to work with Rich to give to his players but then the rest will be put in the trash.
Will I feel guilty? Heck no!! I love to bake and will bake treats for my kids that I know are more nutritious and delicious than a Twix bar, snickers, Butterfinger, or 3 musketeer's bar.

Now ME on the other hand. When it comes to chocolate and peanut butter sitting in front of me, I struggle to walk away. It is hard for me to not just eat it. However, I feel like crap and get very tired after I eat candy or anything with lots of sugar in it now. Why? because my body is not use to a lot of sugar. Its only use to the natural sugar I get from the fruits I eat, and even those I try to eat the ones with less sugar.
So this year, we have no kids to bring candy home from trick or treating, I have convinced my mom not to buy it, since we are living with my parents for the time being, and instead am now making the candy out of shakeology. The shakes taste just like the candy bar but are a healthier replacement and I enjoy them more and feel amazing after. Plus they cure the sweets I have been craving!

Most of you know that Shakeology is my go to.  The simple fact that Shakeology helps to curb my cravings has been reason enough for me.  Plus the fact that it truly tastes amazing and doesn't make me feel guilty for it!  Here are a few of my favorite Halloween Shakeology Recipe.  You might think I'm crazy and that nothing could possibly taste as good as the candy bar, but try it! I promise you won't regret it!!!!

A little Wednesday Motivation

For things to change, you've got to change. For things to get better, you've got to get better.

Things aren't going to change because you want them to. Things aren't going to change because you wish they would or you hope they will.

The only way something is going to change is if YOU DO!!

You've got to change your way of thinking, you've got to change your way of life, to see the change you want to see!

AND....Things aren't going to get better because you want them to or wish them to or hope that they will.

The only way things are going to get better is  if YOU DO! You need to get better at changing, taking on challenges, not giving in, etc for things to get better! Better yourself! Start doing those things that you know will help. Quit making excuses!

Better yourself and change yourself so you can have the change you want and so that things start getting better for you in life!

Need help? Message me! I am here for you and would love to help you keep going!

Week 1 of month 2 Insanity

Week 1 of Month 2 of Insanity will be over tomorrow and all I have to say is OMG!!!! Month 2 is no joke! All the workouts are any where from 45-60 minutes, they are intense and make you go to the MAX!!! I love the workouts though!! And honestly with all the changing around and intervals, you don't realize it is an hour workout.

With these workouts I have burned up to 600 calories during the workouts, I have noticed that I sweat ALOT more, and that I not only feel great after them, but I get HIGH off the accomplishment that I actually finished it.

The intervals are a minute longer and the moves are 15 seconds longer than the first month. However, on the 3rd round he doesn't end with a power move, he ends with a slower, bring your heart rate back down type of move. The moves are definitely more dynamic, intense, and more powerful.

I still say that this program can be done by anyone, AS LONG, as you go at your own pace and concentrate on your form rather than your speed! Month 2 is definitely harder, but I LOVE it! I love every workout in Insanity!! I can't wait for next month to do ASYLUM!!! haha I think I have officially gone CRAZY!!! :)

October Goals

Its a new month! And at the beginning of each moth I reflect on what I want to accomplish, I what I accomplished last month and what I didn't accomplish. These are my goals for the month of October. I know it is going to be a BIG BUSY month but I am excited for it!!!

I ask for all my coaches on my down line to do this every month! It is a great way for all of us to hold each other accountable. And to show each other where we want to go with our business and grow personally.

3 Non negotiable on my goals each month are: 1. Reading Personal Development. 2. Hitting Success Club and 3. Inviting others to join me in this amazing journey!

October is all about Fall and changing!! What are your goals for this month? What do you want to accomplish? Change? Create? Do you have any non negotiable goals you like to hit / accomplish each month?

Month 2 Day 1 of Insanity

Month 2 has officially started!!! And man did it kick my butt. I was seriously drenched from my head to my toes in sweat. The 60 minute workout was amazing, tough, and inspiring!! Why inspiring, because I have not done a 60 minute workout in a very, very long time. I was nervous I wasn't going to get through it BUT I did and I took each section one section at a time. I refused to look at the clock to see the time count down. It worked. The warm up was different then last month. It started out 4 minutes then 2 1/2 minutes for the second round and then 1 1/2 minutes for the 3rd round still making it around 10 minutes for the total warm up. The stretching was different too and didn't last as long as the first month. The stretch was about 5 minutes long. So that made for 45 minutes of intense cardio workout. This workout he did 3 different intervals. They were longer in time (45 seconds instead of 30 seconds each move, and they block1 and block 2 had a power move at the end where block 3 did not. All the moves were different, they were cardio, power, and resistance. Their were lots of combination moves on the floor, like ski abs, jump jack push ups, in and out abs, and spider lunges - all for 1 move. It was amazing. I am tired from the workout but I made sure that I took my R&R after!

This weeks schedule for Insanity is:

Monday - Fit Test and Max Interval Circuit

Tuesday -  Max Interval Plyo

Wednesday - Max Cardio Conditioning

Thursday - Max Recovery

Friday - Max Interval Circuit

Saturday - Max Interval Plyo

Sunday - Off

Excited to see what all these workouts are like!

Thursday - Transform yourself

If your tired of starting over then stop giving up!!

A reason that people don't do the small things that add up to success over time is because they don't see the success right away!

Anything we do that is going to make us successful, skinny, healthier, happier takes time!!

Working out, eating clean, staying positive doing them every day doesn't look like it's making a difference, but over time, they make a huge difference.

Remember this: Success is a process not a destination! When you make the choice to change don't expect to see results over night. Tell yourself that this is a process and it's a slow one. And that the results as long as you stick with it and stay consistent.

You got this!! Stick to it! Don't give up!! And you will become successful!

Need help? Message me! I am here for you and would love to give you the push you need start doing what you want!

Stop siting and waiting for the right opportunity! Get up and make the opportunity for you!

If I would have waiting for the perfect time to quick my full time job and start Beachbody full time, I would still be waiting! Sometimes we have to jump feet first into something, hope instead of hoping for the best, work our a$$ off to make it successful and everything we want it to be and more!

Sitting around won't get you where you want to go. Sitting around won't get you what you want!! YOU have to get up and work for it! Believe in yourself, learn from your mistakes and failures and keep moving ahead!!

A Body in Motion

Good Morning! Happy Saturday!!!

A body at rest tends to stay at rest---and a body in motion tends to stay in motion.

That's why it is so important to be active!!! Once your in motion, it's easy to keep going and stick to the routine you set for yourself. Once you stop and get off track or routine it's hard to change from rest to motion again!

We all fall off track sometimes but if we allow ourselves to stay off track for more than a day or 2 we struggle to get back on. The longer we wait to get back on track the harder it is!

Can you get back on track? Yes!!! You can do anything you want! You just need to remember how you felt when you were on track and want it bad enough to get out of the funk!

How? Just take one step at a time. Do one workout a day. Focus on one clean meal at a time and you will get back on track! Give yourself 7 days and you will see how within just week!

I believe in you and know YOU can do it!! So start today! Take the weekend to get back on track and make a plan!

Need help? Need motivation and support? I am here for you!! Message me!!!

Week 3 Day 3 Muscle Vs Fat

I am on week 3 of Insanity. This week started out with the fit test on Monday, followed by Plyometric cardio Circuit (my favorite) and then today was a double day with insanity! Today was pure cardio and cardio abs! I was a complete sweaty mess by the time I was done with Pure Cardio and I still had cardio abs to do! With Pure Cardio I feel I am getting stronger and stronger each time I do it and can last longer and am taking fewer breaks, not just water breaks but stopping and just jogging in place breaks. That makes me happy knowing that I am getting stronger each week!

Area you a scale watcher? I am sometimes and its a horrible habit. Well insanity I have not lost any weight. Why? 1. because I am eating more than I normally do and 2. because I am taking my fat and turning it into muscle, which means that muscle weighs more than fat!! Which is fine by me, because Muscle is much sexier than fat!!! Don't you agree. So instead of watching the scale, I am watching how I feel, what my muscles look like, how my clothes feel, and how I continue to fuel my body with the appropriate foods.

So I have set a goal for myself. I am in week 3 and I have 7 more weeks to go. 2 of those weeks are really recovery weeks but still, I have a goal set! My goal with Pure Cardio is to make it through the entire 15 minutes straight of cardio with taking only 2 QUICK water breaks and NOT stopping at all to job because I am tired! I know I can do it, because I know that each week I am getting stronger and stronger!  Do you like to set goals for yourself with your workouts and program?

Here is a little picture of what the difference in Fat and Muscle look like.

Week 3 of Insanity Meal Plan

Here is my meal plan for the third week of Insanity! I am loving the program so far however, I am not a big eater due to having celiacs disease, but man am I HUNGRY all the time doing this program. I can't drink enough water or eat enough on it! I am trying not to make out on my food but there are days I feel like I could eat the entire house! Do you ever have days like that? This week I tried to add more and make different things! I am excited to try the Quinoa Almond Joy Bars on Thursday! I haven't made them yet, so I will keep you posted on how they turn out!

Week 3!!! Say What?!?

Ahhh!! I can't believe I have made it to week 3. Today was the fit test again. With Insanity you do the fit test every 2 weeks. I am happy with my results. I went up in all areas except the power jacks where I stayed the same. And in some areas I only went up one. But I am not letting that discourage me. I have worked hard and its only day 15. I can't wait to see where my numbers are at come day 60.

What kept me motivated this whole time was beating Tania. I would get excited when Shaun T would go over and read her numbers. She might have had higher numbers than me but when it came to the increases that is what I got excited about. Some of them increased more than her by a lot and sometimes by 1 so I was thrilled about that! haha

I am really enjoying this program and look forward to it each morning. If you have 45 minutes a day to spend working out then I recommend this program. Yes it is called insanity and yes it is insane, but I truly believe that anyone can do this program, as long as they go at their own pace and listen to Shaun T and not really watch him and how fast he goes. I am still just listening and going at my own pace. Yes I hope one day that I can go at his speed but I refuse to compromise my form.

So if you get the chance, check it out! Check insanity out and try a workout or two! You might just become addicted or insane to it!! :)

Day 10!!!

I honestly didn't think I would make it this far, let alone be excited to get up every morning to workout to INSANITY!!! Its crazy, how this program makes you feel and makes you crave more of it!! I love it! I really enjoy doing it.

Today's workout is my favorite by far, and when I think about why its my favorite I have no idea!! Haha its plyometric Cardio Circuit and its the longest one so far, but the sweat I get, the calorie burn that happens, and the feeling I feel when I am done, is worth those 42 minutes.

Fitness Tip when doing Push ups:

Whether you’re on your toes or on your knees, it’s important to have the proper form.

1. Get into plank position, making sure your hands are aligned beneath your shoulders but just wider than them. Tighten your core.

2. Lower your body until your chest almost touches the floor, tucking your elbows in as you do. When you’re at the bottom, your arms should be at 45-degree angles.

3. Keep your back flat and do not let your back or hips sag. If you can’t do a push-up on your toes yet, don’t give up! You’re still getting a great workout.
